Our daughter is right - we love our lives! This time in your life will be over before you know it. Really. Be patient. Be strong. Ignore the haters, they'll be losers for the rest of their lives, and you'll never have to deal with them again in the blink of an eye. Read lots of books, study hard, and travel at your first opportunity. Reach out to mature and stable adults who can help. And don't do anything irreversible. Because this will pass!
Many LGBT youth can't picture what their lives might be like as openly gay adults. They can't imagine a future for themselves. So let's show them what our lives are like, let's show them what the future may hold in store for them.
